Welcome to Melody Baptist Church
Melody Baptist Church is a church-plant ministry on the west side of Connersville, In. The neighborhood consists mainly of the walking poor, those in dire straits and down on their luck due to addiction, conviction, and family dynamics.
The church is led by Pastor Elmer Cox and his family, who minister to those seeking a better life through a relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Due to recent and ongoing health issues, Pastor Cox is not currently holding services in the church building.
However, his daughter, Julie, records and posts taped messages online for the listening and viewing audience.
And although his service to others is Spiritual—not financial, Pastor Cox is dedicated to preaching the Word of God, setting an example for others and demonstrating a life of faith and commitment.
The Cox family is musically gifted, and Pastor Cox arranges his services to include hymns and special music, scripture and a Biblical message.
